About the Friends

The Friends of The Worthington Library (FOWL) is an all-volunteer committee established to support The Worthington Library. The Friends hosts the Book & Bake Sale and the Town Tag Sale to raise funds for library programming, museum passes, and more. FOWL also organizes events to help connect members of the community.

Interested in joining the Friends of the Worthington Library or have a question?

FOWL member meetings typically occur on the first Sunday of each month from 2 to 3 pm at the library.

Upcoming Programs

Book & Bake Sale
Saturday, May 10 from 10 am – 2 pm (Early Bird entry beginning at 9 am for $10)
Worthington Town Hall

This year’s Book & Bake Sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 10. We hope you will consider volunteering in one of the following ways:
1. donate books for the sale (Monday, May 5 – Friday, May 9)

Book donations: Please drop off books during Town Hall open hours between Monday, May 5 and Friday, May 9, 2025. Please place all donations on the hall stage. We ask that you only leave books in good condition and that you do not leave books outside of Town Hall. You can also drop off books during Setup time on Friday, May 9 between 11:30 am and 3 pm. None of these times work for you? Call Tiffany @ 518-253-6233 to make arrangements.
2. bake goods to sell (to be dropped on Friday, May 9, or by 10 am on Saturday, May 10)
3. Set up the tables and books at Town Hall on Friday, May 9 beginning at 11:30 am until finished (typically 2-3 hours).

Saturday, June 21 from 8 am – 4 pm
