At the request of several book club participants, we’re going to move August’s Book Club meeting to one week later, and meet at 4pm on Saturday, Sept. 5. That way, no one has to choose between book club and the Cummington Fair! Happy fair-going, and now everyone has an extra week to finish The Last Garden in England.
This change is just for this meeting; we’ll continue having the last Saturday of the month as our regular meeting time. So, we’ll meet twice in September, on the 5th and on the 26th. For the 26th, we’ll read Erik Larson’s The Devil in the White City.
